Matsuri
On April 20, 2016, Charlie and Harvey Adelson met at this Miami strip-shopping-center sushi bar while FBI undercover agents attempted to capture the encounter on recording (State's Exhibit 114). During or after the meeting, Charlie and Harvey identified a suspected undercover agent; Harvey was informed of an extortion threat in the parking lot immediately following. The location is addressed across seven proceedings in two trials, including testimony from the FBI undercover agent, law enforcement witnesses James Keith McElveen, Patrick Sanford, and Brian Kendall, and Charlie Adelson himself on both direct and cross-examination.
