A South Beach restaurant on Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, Yardbird served as the setting for two documented pre-murder gatherings. In March 2014 it was the site of Magbanua's first introduction to Wendi Adelson and Jeffrey Lacasse. On March 11, 2014 — approximately four months before the murder — a dinner there brought together Charlie Adelson, Magbanua, Wendi Adelson, and Lacasse, with testimony indicating Sigfredo Garcia was surveilling the group. The location appears in testimony across all three trials.
